CENTRAL LONDON, HYBRID WORKING (3 DAYS IN OFFICE)
We’re excited to be working with a boutique fashion & retail law firm that’s looking for a talented lawyer to join its growing team in a temp to perm role, starting by April. This is a genuinely hands-on, quasi in-house role, working closely with well-known, premium brands across fashion and sport.
You will have around 1 (at a minimum)–4 years’ PQE, and you must have solid grounding in commercial contracts and commercial IP/IT (including trademarks, copyright, licensing and supplier agreements), plus exposure to marketing, data protection and consumer law. Prior private practice experience is important — but just as crucial is personality and cultural fit. The team is collaborative, down-to-earth and passionate about brands, retail and fashion.
The role offers fantastic exposure to e-commerce, distribution, franchising, licensing, influencer and brand collaborations, marketing, IP management, consumer matters, compliance and data/privacy. You’ll be trusted to deliver commercially-minded, pragmatic advice, with plenty of support, training and development along the way — and the opportunity to mentor more junior lawyers.
This is a brilliant stepping stone for lawyers looking to move in-house, gain exceptional sector exposure, or progress more quickly towards partnership than in a traditional firm environment. You will spend approximately half your time in-house in your clients' offices, and this will be invaluable for those looking to move in-house.
If this sounds of interest, please get in touch ASAP with your CV & an indication of your salary expectations.
