About the Role
- Lead and grow the Legal & Compliance Department, setting strategic direction and driving performance.
- Deliver expert legal and regulatory advice across the full spectrum of media law and compliance issues, from defamation and privacy to copyright and broadcast regulation.
- Mentor and manage a talented team of lawyers, fostering both professional development and excellent client service.
- Partner with the CEO and management team on firm‑wide strategy, compliance, and business development.
- Represent the firm at industry events, raising its profile and building strong professional networks.
About You
- You will be an experienced solicitor (England & Wales) with substantial PQE in media law, ideally with experience in TV legal and compliance at a major UK broadcaster, studio, production company or regulator.
- You will have a track record of advising high‑profile clients on complex and sensitive legal matters and excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
- Commercial awareness and strategic insight, coupled with a commitment to compliance and best practice, are key.
