Our client is a trail-blazing independent production company, leading the field in immersive and creative storytelling.

This role would suit an individual who is keen for an in-house position at a top-tier unscripted independent media production company who wants to work in a dynamic, collegiate and supportive working team and enjoys being at the centre of a creative and growing company.

As part of the Legal projection, responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and negotiating development, production, distribution/licensing agreements, including awareness of recent developments in commissioning (UK terms of trade; global streaming).
  • Contractor, contributor, talent, composer, location and access agreements.
  • Advising on contractual rights, compliance, and strategic initiatives.
  • Keeping abreast of important legal developments in the industry.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of complex negotiations in a TV, digital/immersive or agency environment.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial law, IP rights and/or awareness of production, distribution, content rights and licensing.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with digital and tech content contracts is a plus.
