A leading independent rights management business operating within the theatrical and entertainment sector is seeking an experienced and commercially astute lawyer to lead its Legal & Business Affairs function. This is a senior in‑house appointment offering broad strategic responsibility across intellectual property management, commercial contracting, rights enforcement and wider corporate legal matters.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of a highly respected rights‑focused organisation. The role is ideally suited to an experienced commercial, IP or entertainment lawyer who combines strong technical expertise with a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach and is comfortable operating autonomously in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment.
Applicants are likely to be qualified solicitors in England & Wales (or equivalent) with significant experience in intellectual property, licensing and commercial contracts, ideally gained within theatre, entertainment, media or another IP‑led sector.
Candidates should demonstrate:
