BRANDS & FASHION LAWYER

c. 1-3 YRS PQE • PERMANENT ROLE • CENTRAL LONDON, HYBRID WORKING (3/4 DAYS IN OFFICE)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented lawyer to join a boutique fashion & retail firm. You will work in a quasi-in house capacity closely with well‑known and high‑end brands mainly across fashion and sports.

We are looking for lawyers with c. 1‑3 years’ PQE, a good grounding in commercial contracts and commercial IP/IT (trademarks, copyright, licensing, service provider agreements), marketing, DP and consumer law with some prior experience in private practice. Personality and cultural fit will be super important and we are looking for flexible, committed and personable team players, passionate about fashion, brands and retail.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in e‑commerce, distribution, franchising, licensing, brand/influencer collaborations, marketing, IP management, consumer support, compliance and data/privacy.
• Provide advice that combines legal expertise with business acumen and practical common sense.
• Support the ongoing training and development of more junior lawyers/trainees.

Required Qualifications

• 1‑3 years’ post‑qualified experience (PQE).
• Good grounding in commercial contracts and commercial IP/IT (trademarks, copyright, licensing, service provider agreements).
• Experience in marketing, DP, and consumer law with some prior experience in private practice.
• Passion for fashion, brands and retail; flexible, committed, personable team player.
