We are looking for a reliable, professional, and people-focused individual to join our team as an On-site rental advisor in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting property viewings and desktop research on behalf of our clients who cannot be physically present, primarily international students and professionals relocating to London, providing structured assessments and honest recommendations to help clients make informed housing decisions from abroad. This is an ideal opportunity for someone local, whether a student, semi-retired individual, or anyone seeking part-time work, with a genuine interest in property and customer service.

What you'll do:

  • Conducting pre-visit research to verify the property and landlord before any viewing takes place
  • Attending properties in person and assessing condition, suitability, and presentation against a structured checklist
  • Speaking with landlords, agents, or property managers on behalf of the client
  • Writing clear, honest reports with a plain-language recommendation — including when the recommendation is not to proceed
  • Providing end-to-end support to your assigned client across the search, decision, and move-in process
  • Flagging concerns as they arise; your observations are as important as your conclusions

The right person for this role notices things others miss, can articulate why something feels wrong before they can prove it, and writes reports that read like a trusted friend explaining what they saw, not a form that was completed. If that sounds like you, we'd like to hear from you.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Genuinely client-focused, you anticipate needs before they're voiced and follow through without being asked
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Basic smartphone and WhatsApp skills required
  • Willingness to travel across Greater London for assignments
  • Ability to work independently and use your own judgement
  • Based in Greater London with solid knowledge of the private rental market
  • Previous experience in property, lettings, or a client-facing advisory role
  • Multilingual abilities, our clients come from across the world
  • Experience as an international student in the UK, or as a renter who has navigated complex tenancies
  • Comfortable assessing a property honestly, including when the answer is not right for the client
  • No estate agency background required. Previous experience in property or a client-facing role is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided for the right person.

Hours:

  • Zero-hour contract: work offered based on business needs
  • Flexible hours: viewings may be scheduled weekdays, evenings, and weekends
  • Ideal for someone looking for flexibility or part-time work
