We're looking for someone to discover what we build next. This is a hybrid strategy and innovation role: you'll identify new product categories and business opportunities outside our existing lines, validate them commercially, and build the playbooks to scale what works. You'll also support the exec team on strategic planning, board materials, investor decks and commercial sales collateral. It's a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who wants to turn ideas into real businesses. The company is a fast growing start-up who have scaled to contracts with high street chains such as Blank Street Coffee. Now on a mission to expand into the US with a lab already operating there.
What You'll Do
- New Product Development
- Spot and size attractive product categories and growth opportunities
- Build investment cases and financial models
- Design and run MVPs and pilot launches
- Define success metrics and validate product-market fit
- Build go-to-market strategies and scalable operating playbooks for successful launches
- Corporate Strategy
- Support strategic planning, market/competitor/customer research, and evaluation of new markets and partnerships
- Prepare board papers, strategic updates and investor materials
- Partner with leadership on special projects
What We're Looking For
- Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG or similar)
- Follow-on operating experience in a high-growth, scale-up or entrepreneurial environment
- A track record of taking business opportunities from concept to launch
- Comfort operating independently in ambiguous environments
- High curiosity, ownership and attention to detail
