We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team. Working closely with the Head Sommelier, you will play a visible role on the floor, delivering an exceptional wine experience to a discerning clientele in a high-end dining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver confident, warm, knowledgeable wine service to guests
  • Guide guests through the wine list, from by-the-glass options to rare and fine wines
  • Make pairing recommendations across tasting and à la carte menus, working in step with the kitchen
  • Support cellar management: receiving, stock rotation, inventory counts and condition checks
  • Assist with wine list development, supplier tastings and staff training
  • Uphold service standards consistent with a fine dining environment
  • Build genuine relationships with regulars and high-value guests
  • Drive wine revenue while always putting the guest experience first

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a Sommelier in a Michelin-starred restaurant, 5-star hotel or comparable high-end venue
  • WSET Level 3 minimum; Court of Master Sommeliers Certified or Advanced preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of classic regions plus genuine curiosity for emerging producers
  • Polished floor presence, composed under pressure, naturally guest-facing
  • Commercially aware with a guest-first approach to selling
  • Right to work in the UK
