Head Chef – Modern Turkish & Mediterranean Grill Bexleyheath, South East London | £48,000–£54,000 + benefits | 5 days a week Are you a Turkish or Mediterranean grill chef ready to run your own kitchen your way? We're a busy, upscale Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant, grill and bar in South East London, known for charcoal grills, artisan mezes, fresh seafood and a lively atmosphere. With an open kitchen, weekend live music, bottomless brunches, family Sundays and private events for up to 120 guests, no two days are the same. We're looking for a Head Chef to take full ownership of the kitchen. This is not a role where you follow someone else's menu. You'll have complete creative and operational control. What you'll be doing Leading all kitchen operations across à la carte, brunch, live entertainment nights and private events Developing and planning menus, introducing new dishes and making changes as you see fit Running the charcoal grill and meze sections to a consistently high standard Recruiting, training and developing a strong, motivated brigade Managing GP, food costs, ordering, suppliers and stock control Keeping food safety, HACCP and allergen compliance spotless What we're looking for Experience as a Head Chef, or a Senior or Executive Sous Chef ready to step up Strong background in Turkish, Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cooking, ideally with ocakbasi or mangal charcoal grill experience Proven menu development and cost control skills Experience running a high-volume kitchen, including brunch or events, is a strong advantage A hands-on leader who builds teams and keeps standards high under pressure Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent (desirable) Full right to work in the UK, and able to commute to Bexleyheath What's on offer £48,000–£54,000 per year, depending on experience 5-day working week Full kitchen autonomy, with your menu, your team and your standards A modern, well-equipped open kitchen in a growing, well-established venue Real backing from owners who want creativity and quality Staff meals and team discounts TPBN1_UKCT
