A UK physician, who moved to KDHC in early 2023, is willing to provide advice and share his experience in relocating and working in Kinmount.
A Great Place to Work:
KDHC is a bright, spacious, and well-resourced health centre in the village of Kinmount. The Health Centre is over 650 square meters (7,000 square feet) and includes offices and examination rooms to accommodate three doctors. A modern, fully equipped procedure room is available onsite for use by medical staff for minor surgical procedures, diagnostic purposes, musculoskeletal joint and soft tissue injections, and coil and implant insertions. Offices and examination rooms are fully equipped – capital expenses are funded through the Health Services Foundation at no cost to the physicians. The Health Centre is currently home to one full-time family physician with over 20 years experience and one part-time resident physician supporting the doctor. Flexibility in size of practice and patient load can be arranged to accommodate physician’s preferences. Low overhead costs are shared by physicians; the overhead split is typically 20% of billings to cover all physician commitments.

This area is a very popular tourist destination with its myriad of outdoor activities.
