At Lomond we are looking for a Lettings Client Accountant to join our Client Accounts team in Hammersmith. This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

What's the role? As a Lettings Client Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing landlord accounts within your portfolio, ensuring rent is collected on time, arrears are minimised, and accurate account information is provided promptly. You'll also support the smooth operation of the Client Accounts team and help deliver outstanding service to our customers.
You'll be responsible for:
- Importing new tenancy details into our accounting system for efficient rent processing
- Monitoring rent accounts, identifying arrears, and engaging with tenants, landlords, and guarantors to resolve issues
- Producing correspondence for credit control and chasing payments
- Managing recoverable charges and ensuring timely invoicing and payment
- Handling Rent Guarantee claims and supporting legal proceedings when required
- Deregistering deposits and processing payments in line with company procedures
- Producing income and expenditure reports for landlords and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining compliance with HMRC requirements for overseas landlords
- Supporting the team with queries and day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations
What can you bring to the role?
- Experience in a similar role within a residential lettings agency's client accounts function
- Strong administration and IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel - ideally including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with high operational standards
