We are looking for an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Kingswood Vets. This is a predominantly clinical role, ideal for a vet who enjoys being hands‑on, particularly with surgery, and wants the opportunity to work within a well‑equipped hospital environment alongside a strong multidisciplinary team. You will play an important role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting less experienced colleagues when needed, and delivering excellent patient and client care. This role is well‑suited to a confident clinician who enjoys complex cases and surgical variety, without the pressure of full management responsibility.
Why work at Kingswood Vets
Kingswood Vets is a long‑standing practice at the heart of the local community in Woking, with a sister branch in Chertsey. In 2018, we moved into a purpose‑built hospital with four consult rooms, two theatres, dental and imaging suites, and separate dog and cat wards. We see a great mix of well‑insured clients who want the best for their pets, alongside rewarding charity work with the RSPCA and other organisations. The caseload is varied and allows for genuine clinical satisfaction and progression.
Work‑life balance
This is a full‑time role, typically 40 hours per week across 4 days, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (08:00 to 14:00). Part‑time applications are also welcomed.
Location
Woking offers easy access to the Surrey Hills, RHS Garden Wisley, and fast transport links to London and the coast. Heathrow, Gatwick, the M3, and the M25 are all close by.
