PE Apprentice

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a highly experienced and supportive team of PE teachers at Kingswood Secondary Academy. The successful candidate will support all aspects within the department, from preparation of equipment to assisting students during PE lessons. This apprenticeship provides a stepping stone into careers such as PE teaching, sports management or coaching. The role requires good time management, leadership and organisational skills, a passionate commitment to pupil achievement, and a belief in the potential of all young people.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the department from preparation of equipment to assisting students during PE lessons.
• Assist with delivering PE lessons and contributing to a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate closely with the PE team to support student achievement.

• Passionate commitment to pupil achievement and belief in the potential of all young people.
• Strong time-management, leadership and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Interest or experience in PE teaching, sports management or coaching.
