Job Description
Kingswood Primary School is seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead our inclusive, vibrant and ambitious school community from January 2027.

We are looking for a Headteacher who will combine strategic ambition with warmth, visibility and strong relationships. You will provide clear, values-led leadership and work closely with staff, pupils, parents, governors, Lambeth Council and the wider community.
The successful candidate will:
- Articulate a compelling vision and clear strategic direction for the school.
- Lead with integrity, resilience, creativity and a strong moral purpose.
- Secure high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and pupil achievement.
- Champion an ambitious, broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum.
- Ensure every child, including those with SEND and additional needs, can thrive and achieve.
- Build a positive culture in which staff feel supported, valued, challenged and empowered to develop.
- Develop leadership capacity and promote high-quality professional development.
- Work effectively with governors and provide clear, accurate information to support effective governance and accountability.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.
- Ensure safeguarding and the welfare of children remain at the heart of school life.
