Camp Beaumont Asia is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to teach students locally and internationally. As a Tutor, you will help improve reading, writing, and comprehension skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in teaching English is advantageous
- Possess previous experience working in a classroom environment
- TESOL/TEFL CERTIFICATE or equivalent qualification (recommended)
- Minimum a B4 grade for GCE “O” levels in English or equivalent qualification
- Possess at least a Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification
Role Description
The role of English in Action Tutor involves safeguarding the welfare and facilitating the learning experience of children across diverse age groups and varying language competencies. Training and all materials needed to carry out a lesson will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and create a conducive classroom environment for the children
- Adhere to the lesson plans provided and deliver lessons at a high standard
- Ensure the company’s safety policies and procedures are followed and enhanced throughout each activity
Typical Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Above the age of 21 years
- Legally allowed to work in the country you are applying
- Passion for working with children
- Strong command of the English Language (written and spoken)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum a B4 grade for GCE “O” levels in English or equivalent qualification
- TESOL/TEFL CERTIFICATE or equivalent qualification (recommended)
- Be available to take up this role during the international summer holiday period only
Training & Induction (Mandatory)
- Attend 3-4 days of mandatory training and induction prior to the camp
- Receive comprehensive training and mentorship to empower performance
Placement Details
All placements are managed and delivered solely by Camp Beaumont Asia. The role is a seasonal job for summer camp durations only. The position will be based at Nexus International School, Singapore.
