The Role:
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth running of a holiday camp based at Haberdasher's Boy's School.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, oversee daily activities, and be the key point of contact for parents, staff, and senior management.
- Play a vital role in delivering engaging sports, games, and creative activities.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children.
- Manage day-to-day camp operations and routines.
- Communicate confidently with parents and colleagues.
- Support and develop your team throughout the camp season.
About You:
- Energetic, organised, and passionate about working with children.
- Experience working in a childcare setting.
- Experience managing or supporting a small team.
- A Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent: QTS, QTLS, PGCE, ECT qualification or working towards one of the following).
- Strong safeguarding awareness.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and lots of enthusiasm.
- The ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
- Paediatric First Aid (training can be provided).
