Working closely with students, families, form tutors and senior leaders, you will provide high-quality pastoral leadership and ensure that every student feels supported, valued and able to thrive. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people, removing barriers to learning and making a tangible difference to students' lives every day.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Has experience working with young people and supporting their welfare, behaviour and personal development
- Can lead and manage pastoral processes such as attendance, punctuality, behaviour and safeguarding
- Builds strong, positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external agencies
- Is organised, proactive and confident in managing sensitive situations professionally
- Works effectively as part of a team and can use their own initiative
- Shares our commitment to inclusion, high expectations and student success
- Experience of working in a school or similar setting is desirable, as is training in pastoral support, counselling strategies or leadership
