Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and organising ingredients, equipment and materials for lessons
- Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety
- Managing stock, resources and equipment efficiently
- Assisting with displays, curriculum events and enrichment activities
- Providing administrative and operational support within the department
What We’re Looking For
- Has experience in food preparation, catering, hospitality or education settings
- Understands food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Is highly organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to supporting young people and creating positive learning experiences
- Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, or is willing to obtain one
- Previous experience within a school or Food Technology environment would be an advantage.
