Hours: 32.5 hours per week, part time, term time only (39 weeks) permanent 8.30 am - 3:30 pm (unpaid 30 minute lunch break)

Grade: Warwickshire Grade F Point 6-11 (£25,989.00- £28,142.00) Actual (£19,810.09 to £21,451.22)

About Kingsway Community Primary School

Kingsway Community Primary School is at the heart of our community, is for children aged between 4 to 11 years old, which is situated in Leamington Spa and is currently undergoing extensive renovation. We are committed to creating a caring and nurturing environment where all children can flourish and show their true potential. Every child is given the opportunity to succeed regardless of their skills or abilities through the promotion of a positive 'can do' attitude, underpinned by building strong relationships. The day to day role will consist of:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning and striving for excellent educational outcomes for all pupils including those with SEND
  • Liaising with outside agencies for advice and support
  • Working with pupils on a 1 to 1 and group basis depending on need
  • Monitoring progress of pupils and assessing progress in a lesson
  • Running intervention groups
  • Communicating well with colleagues about pupil progress
  • Adapting resources and the environment to meet the needs of the children

Our learners at Kingsway require someone to support their learning who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent classroom practice including delivery of intervention groups
  • Highest expectations of achievement and behaviour
  • Strong spoken / written English and numeracy skills
  • Experience of working with SEND pupils
  • A passion for all children to achieve success
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and make a positive contribution as part of our team

A Level 3 Qualification or equivalent is essential, and working towards and experience in a primary school setting is preferred. We encourage potential candidates to visit the school to find out more about us.
