Salary: £13,484.18 per annum.

Hours: 20 per week, Monday to Friday.

The role of a House Manager will involve effectively and professionally managing the day to day running of an independent living development for the over 60s.

Role Benefits:
  • 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) for full time employees; pro-rata to part time employees.

About the House Manager Role:
  • Ensuring the building remains safe and secure.
  • Ensuring the building provides a well-maintained environment for residents.
  • Carrying out and recording daily health and safety checks, ad-hoc cleaning, checking bin stores and providing access for waste collection.
  • Performing weekly fire alarm tests.
Your Experience:
  • Essential:
  • A good standard of general education.
  • Experience of working with the public.
  • Ability to recognise diverse customers' needs and to communicate with customers orally and in writing, effectively.
  • General knowledge of maintained services in communal buildings.
  • Desirable:
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • Computer skills for communication.
  • Experience of liaising with contractors and service providers.
  • An ability to see the wider picture and contribute across disciplines.
