Kingston University London is seeking to recruit an Estates Project Manager to deliver a varied portfolio of capital and refurbishment projects across the University’s estate. The Estates and Sustainability directorate exists to support Kingston University’s academic mission and the goals set out in its strategic plan. It leads on strategic planning, capital development, space management, operational sustainability, energy management and biodiversity management, as well as statutory compliance and the operation of the University's campuses and premises.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, delivering projects that enhance the University’s built environment and support the student and staff experience. The Estates Project Manager will lead projects through the full RIBA Plan of Work stages, from inception through design, delivery and completion, ensuring successful outcomes that meet agreed scope, budget and programme. The role will focus on refurbishment, reconfiguration and improvement works, alongside space planning and the management of moves and changes across a diverse and complex estate.

Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you will define project requirements, manage delivery teams, and ensure that projects are executed in line with Estates processes and statutory requirements. You will play a key role in embedding sustainability, operational efficiency and value for money into all project outcomes, while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and compliance.

We are seeking candidates with formative project delivery experience gained within an architecture, construction or project management environment. This role represents an excellent career progression opportunity for an individual looking to build on their early industry experience and progress into a project management role within a supportive and collaborative team environment. You will be given the opportunity to develop your project track record across a varied portfolio of schemes.

We welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities and those with disabilities. We are a place-based organisation, proud of our location in Kingston and the civic role we play in our community. Our campuses inspire collaborative, innovative and creative communities. Being present on campus is important to us because it helps us to create a sense of belonging for both our staff and students. Therefore, staff are expected to be on campus for the majority of their working week.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required, this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
