Personal Assistant – Finance and Strategic Projects Office

This full-time, permanent role offers a starting salary of £33,538 per annum. Interviews are expected to be held the week commencing 29 September 2025.

The Role

The role will provide proactive PA and administrative support to the Finance and Strategic Projects Office (SPO) within the Directorate of Finance, Infrastructure & HR, contributing to the smooth running of the Finance and SPO Departments.

The role will provide complex diary and meeting organisation, including preparation for meetings, along with email inbox monitoring. The role will Clerk and/or minute meetings as required by the Director of Finance and Director of Strategic Projects Office, which may include paper preparation and distribution and action tracking. The role will proactively manage communication with the key contacts of the Director of Finance and Director of Strategic Projects Office, managing correspondence and phone calls to ensure a positive impression of the departments.

The Person

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of providing executive support to senior staff in a large and complex organisational setting, preferably within the Higher Education sector.

They will also be a self-motivated, organised individual working in a forward-thinking Directorate with good writing skills and competent in use of technology in MS environment.
