Kingston Business School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and talented Lecturer in Accounting & Finance to join the Department of Accounting, Finance and Informatics. Two full‑time, permanent positions are available with a starting salary of £45,025 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and enhancement of the Accounting and Finance portfolio through high‑quality teaching, assessment, module leadership and student support.
  • Responsibilities include teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, contributing to curriculum development and quality enhancement, and supporting student recruitment and engagement activities.
  • The role also provides an opportunity to develop and maintain an active research programme aligned to Kingston University’s Research Domain Framework, through publications, conference participation, collaborative projects and engagement with external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold or be close to completing a PhD in Accounting or Finance.
  • Demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research.
  • Ability to teach Accounting and Finance subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and experience supporting diverse student cohorts.
  • A developing research profile, evidenced through a publication pipeline, conference presentations or related scholarly activities.

Other Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
  • Willingness to work on campus for the majority of the working week.
