This is an exciting opportunity to join the Student Advice team in the position of Student Money Adviser. As a Student Money Adviser, you provide a range of support and information to applicants and students as they navigate their student journey. You help applicants and students understand complex information from a variety of sources, such as Student Finance regulations and Housing Law.
Responsibilities
- Disseminate complicated information in an accessible manner to a range of stakeholders.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment, handling planned, routine tasks alongside ad hoc ones.
Qualifications
- Strong case working background and confident, clear communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting detailed information to diverse audiences.
Location and Salary
This is a full‑time, one‑year fixed‑term position with a starting salary of £39,407 per annum. The role is primarily based at our Penrhyn Road campus, with some working from home considered in line with current university policy and business needs. Occasional work on rota Saturdays is required to support student recruitment events, for which time off in lieu will be given.
