This new position of Finance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the organisation. By analysing financial data, identifying trends, and producing actionable insights, the Finance Analyst helps drive informed decision-making across departments.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience, and will have studied or be studying a relevant Accounting qualification.
You will also have knowledge of advanced Excel formulas, be comfortable working with large datasets, and be able to summarise and communicate insights concisely for senior stakeholders.
The Directorate for Finance, HR, and Infrastructure plays a critical role in shaping and supporting the University\’s strategic and operational success. It focuses on excellence, efficiency, and people-centred practices, delivering vital services that influence staff and students\’ daily experience while enabling long-term growth. These services include financial management, workforce development, and infrastructure maintenance, supporting the University\’s operations and ambitions.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a starting salary of £49,468 per annum. Interviews are expected to be held on 2 September 2025.
