Role Overview
We are seeking a Faculty Support Administrator to provide excellent, effective and efficient administration to one of the Schools and Departments within the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and the Environment. The postholder will be responsible for providing proactive diary management support to one of the Heads of School and delivering effective administrative assistance to the academic and senior leadership team. Previous experience of diary management is essential as well as good working knowledge of administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electronic diary management for the Head of School, arranging, scheduling, and prioritising appointments, meetings, and visits.
- Deliver highly effective customer support to faculty staff, coordinating a variety of functions, and work flexibly as part of the operations support team.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the faculty by providing exceptional administrative support, including covering for absent team members when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional, self‑motivated, and an excellent team player.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a confident proactive approach.
- Ability to build good working relationships across the faculty and university, listening effectively and responding sensitively to others.

Job Details
This is a full‑time, permanent position with a starting salary of £29,478 per annum. The role is office‑based and requires presence full time at the two campuses: Penrhyn Road and Roehampton Vale.
