Role Overview

Kingston School of Art is looking to recruit a Faculty Support Administrator who will provide proactive administrative support to assigned Heads of Department within the faculty. The role is varied and includes calendar management, minute taking, data entry, booking travel, finance processing and providing support on a number of projects. Strong organisational skills are critical as the requirement will be to maintain a number of operational systems and support in the organisation of faculty events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive administrative support to Heads of Department.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel.
  • Take minutes and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform data entry and support finance processing.
  • Assist with a range of projects and operational systems.
  • Coordinate faculty events and maintain organizational systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment.
  • Strong IT skills and confident, proactive approach.
  • Excellent customer service, flexibility, and responsive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
  • Knowledge of higher education is desirable.

Salary & Term

This is a full time, fixed term position for 1 year with a starting salary of £29,478 per annum.
