Kingston School of Art is recruiting a part-time Lecturer in Fine Art, this is a fixed-term position for one year. You will join a dynamic academic community, working closely with students and staff in a supportive and student-centred environment. You will provide tutorials and deliver teaching across the MFA Fine Art and BA Fine Art programmes. Your teaching will be informed by your specialist artistic practice and your research will contribute to the School's wider research culture.

Drawing on your sector experience and using a range of teaching approaches and digital tools, you will help deliver a Fine Art education that is critically engaged and responsive to contemporary artistic, cultural and professional contexts.

The Person

You will hold a relevant postgraduate qualification, or equivalent in experience, and show a commitment to developing your professional and pedagogic practice. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and well-established professional networks within the UK and internationally. You will be well organised, inspiring and an engaging public speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience of managing complex projects and schedules, working collaboratively within a team and supporting the needs of others, both individually and in large groups, is essential. You will be a practising artist with a growing national and international profile and network, strong knowledge of contemporary art practice and theory and experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
