The Role We seek an Associate Professor/Professor with significant expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications, especially in cyber security. Candidates should have a strong publication record and be capable of leading research and teaching in Computer Science and AI, with a focus on cyber security. This role offers a chance to expand our research and teaching in these fields, collaborating with the Knowledge Exchange and Research Institute (KERI), particularly in cyber security. The position is fixed-term for four years but provides opportunities for career development through research, publications, and societal impact. The Person The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, an HE teaching qualification such as FHEA, and has an established research profile. You should demonstrate leadership in research and teaching, contributing to the School\’s profile and working with talented lecturers to deliver modern, relevant education aligned with the University’s \’Future Skills\’ initiative. The Faculty The Faculty of Engineering, Computing & the Environment (ECE) is diverse and research-intensive, with state-of-the-art facilities including labs, VR centres, and more.
