Early Morning Cleaner Location: Kingston, KT1 2EE Salary: £11,575 per annum, £14.80 per hour + Benefits! Contract: Part time, Permanent Hours: 3 hours per day Monday – Friday – 5.30am – 08.30am (15 hours per week) KUSCO (Kingston University Service Company Ltd) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Kingston University, established in December 1997. It is a non-profit making organisation providing facility management services to Kingston University. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Early Morning Cleaner to join our friendly us! You’ll help ensure our classrooms, offices, laboratories, lecture theatres, and communal areas are spotless and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work independently, using your initiative to deliver high cleaning standards, while also being part of a supportive cleaning team. As one of our Cleaners you will be responsible for: * Cleaning and tidying allocated areas, including classrooms, offices, laboratories, lecture theatres, workshops, corridors, and toilets, in line with service standards. * Carrying out floor polishing and deep cleaning when required. * Emptying bins and dispose of waste correctly. * Keeping cleaning equipment and storage areas clean, tidy, and secure. * Reporting supply needs, building issues, or health & safety concerns. * Taking care of keys for your working areas and follow security procedures. * Undertaking training to ensure safe use of equipment and meet Health & Safety requirements. In order to be successful in this role you must have / be: * Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties. * Smart appearance (protective clothing and uniform provided). * Flexible and adaptable to different cleaning routines and areas. * Able to work with minimal supervision, using initiative. * Committed to delivering high-quality cleaning standards.
