The Role - Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across campus, ensuring buildings and systems remain fully operational, safe, and compliant. You'll bring your core trade expertise while working collaboratively across disciplines to deliver a high-quality service.

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across campus buildings
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • Working across trade disciplines to support the wider team and maintain service continuity
  • Using CAFM (Planon) and BMS systems to log work and monitor building performance
  • Collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and university staff to deliver efficient maintenance services
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
