Building Maintenance Engineer
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, KT1 2EE
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum.
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday Friday, 8 am 5 pm 37Hrs p. W, overtime opportunities available.
On call, 1 week in every 6-8 weeks £300, extra for call outs.
Holiday: 28 Days Plus Bank Holidays

Building Engineer About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team, to carry out PPMs and Reactive works to the site.
Engineer must record all works on a PDA, Planon is the CAFM system we operate.
Responsibilities
Plumbing issues, keeping the facilities operational, completing PPM\’s
AHU Maintenance, AC trouble shooting.
Utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair systems.
Understanding logic controllers and interpreting building drawings
Supervising maintenance tasks and contractors
Resolving technical issues which arise
Delivering exceptional customer service to Kingston University Students and Staff
Building Engineer Candidate Specification:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our building systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Maintenance: 5 years (preferred commercial environment)
Team player
Proficient in English for effective communication
Possess mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Experience with logic controllers and interpreting building O&M\’s
Work on your own, carry out maintenance activities, completing PPMs.
Driving Licence (Use of the call out vehicle)
