Working Hours: Full time, hybrid - 38.5 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8am - 5pm, Fri 8am - 3pm)
Position Summary: To provide sales support to, and to manage relationships and maintain customer satisfaction at all times with distribution and assembler customers in specified territories. Also, to develop business with existing customers through supporting Business Development Manager (BDM) efforts, conduct customer business reviews, make recommendations to management for business, process and procedure development, and to ensure Kingston is providing both correct and competitive pricing, while maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.
Essential Functions
- To pro-actively manage and develop Kingston business in specified territories, and backup for other countries may be required, through account management from the office in Sunbury.
- To coordinate where necessary with other Kingston departments such as Logistics, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Warehouse, and Marketing.
- To anticipate and develop plans, which reflect the future needs of the customer.
- To manage inventory levels based on customer and inventory forecasts and ROPs.
- To manage customer accounts by quoting and negotiating prices, processing orders, and estimating and managing deliveries based on knowledge of stock, production and delivery schedules.
- To communicate with customers on a frequent and professional basis to secure orders and to provide product information and general customer service.
- To support the relevant Business Development Managers in the field at all times.
- To work with the RMA department to resolve returns issues.
Other Responsibilities
- To occasionally travel to customer sites and trade shows.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
- Minimum: Good general standard of education.
- Desirable: Degree level educated (or equivalent).
Experience / Knowledge
- Minimum: Fluent English spoken and written to business level.
- Desirable: Fluent in at least one other European language written and spoken, German is highly desirable.
- Desirable: Previous IT product-related knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Desirable: Experience in sales / account management.
