Our client, a long-established and highly respected business, is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities at a compact warehouse facility. This role requires a proactive individual with strong people skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to represent the business in face-to-face client meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating and overseeing daily deliveries and pickups to ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Supervising a small on-site team, planning rotas and providing support where needed
- Ensuring stock, deliveries, paperwork and systems are accurate and well organised
- Holding local client meetings face to face, building relationships and trust, and helping to drive and influence local sales into the business
- Stepping in to support with delivery work when required
- Visiting local clients and industry partners to strengthen relationships and support business development
- Identifying opportunities for improvements, efficiencies and smarter ways of working
- Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment in line with company standards
- Working flexibly to ensure operational needs are met
Personal Requirements
- Experienced in operations, logistics, warehousing, branch management or a similar hands-on role
- Experience building client customer relationships with the ability to influence increase sales & site profitability
- Able to think quickly, problem-solve and make sound decisions independently
- Comfortable leading a small team and creating a positive, productive working environment
- Confident engaging with clients in person – professional, reliable and relationship-driven
- Highly organised with strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable, with a “get the job done” mindset
- Happy to support with delivery/van work when required (full UK driving licence essential)
