Kingston Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on warehouse role but also holds a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and is happy to undertake driving duties when required. The role will primarily involve working within the warehouse, with Class 2 driving forming part of the role to support deliveries when needed. This position would suit a reliable, practical individual who enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment and is comfortable combining warehouse responsibilities with driving duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately picking stock within a large stores environment using e-pick systems
  • Loading pallets and goods ready for delivery
  • Unloading containers and correctly storing products
  • Carrying out basic assembly work (including beds, blinds and curtain poles)
  • Conducting physical stock checks
  • Occasional outdoor yard work for loading and unloading
  • Completing occasional deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to be part of a team

Working 40 hours per week:

  • Week one: Monday to Thursday (Fridays off)
  • Week two: Monday to Friday
