Our client, a well-established and highly regarded business with a strong international presence, is looking to recruit an Export Co-ordinator to join their busy Logistics team at their Head Office in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with export or logistics experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across global markets, working within a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The Role
As Export Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of export documentation, ensuring all shipments meet international regulatory requirements. Acting as a central point of contact across multiple departments, you will help ensure operations run efficiently and deadlines are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and compliant export documentation for international shipments
- Ensure all documentation adheres to current customs regulations and industry standards
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and maintain workflow efficiency
- Oversee the release and distribution of key shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, certificates, and courier dispatch
- Support the wider logistics function in coordinating global shipments
The Candidate
- Proven experience in export documentation or a similar logistics/supply chain role
- Strong working knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping requirements
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise effectively under pressure
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with SAP would be advantageous
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of global shipping routes would be beneficial
