An excellent opportunity to join a well-established local manufacturer supplying international markets. Kingston Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/FLT Driver to join the team for a 2-year fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- To prepare customer deliveries as guided and load onto the appropriate vehicles.
- To ensure finished goods, raw materials (including WIP) are stored safely and in the correct locations.
- To interact with the SAP stock Management System.
- To assist in maintaining 5S working practices and all other working procedures.
- To maintain good communications with all departments by liaising with all appropriate staff as necessary.
- Provide cover, as appropriate, where required in the areas of responsibility of the warehouse and distribution team to ensure required standards are maintained.
- To ensure adherence to health, safety, quality and hygiene, always striving for the highest standards.
- To attend and play an active part in all team meetings.
- You can be required to undertake such other duties, temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may be required of you commensurate with your grade/level in the organisation.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- To have a good general education, be numerate and literate, observant and diligent.
- Current relevant experience in a similar role for a minimum of two years (essential).
- Counterbalance FLT (essential).
- PPT and Reach FLT qualifications (desirable).
- Current VNA Truck – Man up qualification (desirable).
- VNA abseiling (essential - training will be given).
- Experience of working with computer-based warehouse management systems (SAP preferred).
- Computer literacy with good knowledge of standard Microsoft packages.
- The ability to organise your own workload and prioritise tasks with minimum supervision and work accurately with good attention to detail.
This role will be night shifts 7pm - 7am of a 4 on 4 off rota.
