Supply Chain / Inventory Controller, Hull
Due to ongoing expansion and modernisation, our client is seeking an additional member to join their busy Supply Chain team. Working closely with the warehouse function, you will oversee the control and ordering of stock, carry out regular stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and ensure optimum stock availability across multiple sites. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role with clear opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock levels across multiple locations
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, identifying root causes
- Ensure goods are stored in the correct warehouse locations and reconciled against the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Produce regular reports on stock accuracy and trends
- Recommend improvements to stock control processes
About You:
Previous experience in inventory control within a fast-paced environment
Strong IT skills, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable β particularly during the implementation of a new stock management system
