Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in construction or modular builds? Do you take pride in delivering high-quality projects while maintaining exceptional standards of health & safety and client satisfaction? Our client, a leading name within the construction sector, is looking to strengthen their Operations team with the addition of a proactive and highly organised Site Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on projects across the UK, taking full responsibility for site operations from installation through to successful handover.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest possible standards. You will be the driving force on site, coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the installations from launch through to final handover
  • Managing site operations to achieve programme milestones and delivery deadlines
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and best practice on site
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering a first-class customer experience
  • Coordinating and managing subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Monitoring site progress, reporting updates, and escalating issues where required
  • Managing site costs and supporting effective commercial control
  • Preparing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and project programmes
  • Maintaining high standards of site presentation, housekeeping, and quality assurance
  • Ensuring all project documentation, QA processes, and compliance requirements are met

The Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will be a confident and hands-on Site Manager with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering excellence. You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience within construction, ideally modular, as a Site Manager, Site Agent, or Foreman
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, with a proactive approach to site safety
  • SMSTS qualification and CSCS Black Card (essential)
  • Additional certifications such as First Aid, IPAF and PASMA (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage and control site costs
  • The ability to read, review, and produce method statements and risk assessments
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
