Due to continued growth, our client, a well-established business in Hull City Centre is looking to welcome an experienced Purchase Ledger professional to their friendly finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours and a varied, hands-on role in a supportive environment.

You’ll be job-sharing the Purchase Ledger function, taking full ownership of the process during your working hours and stepping in to cover sickness and holidays when needed. Flexibility is key, but your core hours will be two full days per week (with scope to split these into part-days if that suits you better).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Resolving queries from suppliers promptly and professionally
  • Amending and updating invoices as required
  • Monitoring email inboxes and handling incoming queries
  • Using a paperless system to obtain invoice approvals
  • Issuing timely payments to suppliers

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role

Ideally, experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of CIS

Familiarity with Sage and strong attention to detail

A flexible and proactive approach to supporting the wider finance team
