Logistics Administrator (Temp to Perm), Hull
On behalf of our client, a leading name in the manufacturing industry, Kingston Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator for their expanding team.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering long-term potential for the right candidate. If you\’re a strong administrator with logistics or warehousing experience and you\’re available immediately, we want to hear from you!
The Role: As a Logistics Administrator, you’ll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy logistics team. From managing goods in and works orders, to assisting with load picking, vendor control sheets and ensuring timely despatch, you’ll be right at the heart of the operation.
Shifts
- Week 1: 6.00am – 2.15pm
- Week 2: 2.00pm – 10.15pm
- Take ownership of goods receiving, waste management, inventory and stock control
- Accurately maintain vendor control sheets and support load picking and despatch
- Use systems such as MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and planning
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments to improve processes
- Support department KPIs, audits, and help formalise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure timely, accurate despatches to customers and promote cost-effective practices
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar logistics or warehouse administration role
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; MRP system knowledge is a bonus
- Available for immediate start
