We are recruiting for a Production Planner to join a leading manufacturing business based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will play a key role in co‑ordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and meeting customer demands in a fast‑paced environment. Working cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales, and Purchasing, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, co‑ordinate, and prioritise production workflows across multiple product lines
- Manage daily planning for key production areas, ensuring efficiency and minimal delays
- Monitor production progress, resolving issues to maintain output and deadlines
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure materials, staffing, and equipment are aligned with demand
- Maintain and update production plans, reporting on performance, output, and KPIs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
- Review and maintain BOM accuracy and support planning‑related project work
- Produce regular reports for senior management on performance, issues, and improvements

- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
