We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for two exciting opportunities to join their Customer Account Team.
These roles offer the chance to become part of a highly respected manufacturing business, taking ownership of the sales administration and account management for a portfolio of key UK customer accounts.
Working closely with a range of internal departments, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring orders are managed efficiently from receipt through to delivery, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key UK customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with the Materials Control team to ensure stock availability for production.
- Work closely with Production to ensure orders are completed on time and to customer requirements.
- Coordinate deliveries with the Transport and Distribution team.
- Keep customers informed throughout the order process, providing regular updates and resolving any queries.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and occasional customer visits.
- Produce and analyse reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying sales trends, customer spend and performance data.
- The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have previous customer service or account management experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
However, candidates from other fast-paced commercial or service sector backgrounds will also be considered.
You will also have
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience of SAP would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
