We are recruiting for a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join a busy HR Operations team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role plays an important part in supporting the wider HR function and ensuring employees receive an efficient and positive HR service. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous HR experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to further develop their career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing a professional and helpful service
  • Maintain and update HR systems to ensure employee records remain accurate
  • Complete general HR administration tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Prepare employee lifecycle documentation including contracts, letters and HR correspondence
  • Respond to employee queries and escalation where necessary
  • Support the HR team with people-related activities including employee relations processes
  • Assist with recruitment administration and pre-boarding activities for new starters
  • Provide support with payroll administration where required
