Kingston Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who is confident working with stock control, deliveries, and inventory processes.

The Role: As a Goods In Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming stock is accurately checked, processed, and stored correctly. You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring warehouse systems are kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and process incoming deliveries, ensuring quantities, quality, and product details match delivery paperwork.
  • Sign delivery notes once goods have been checked and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure stock is correctly labelled, identified, and stored in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse systems as required.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed, including FIFO principles.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages or issues.
  • Assist with returns, damaged stock, and stock investigations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Work closely with warehouse colleagues to support efficient operations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a Goods In / Stock Control role.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.
  • Ability to complete paperwork and use warehouse systems.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (08:00 – 12:00) 42 hours per week average Temp to Perm – Immediate Start Available On-Site parking
