Kingston Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and successful local manufacturer, who are looking to appoint a Customer Site Envoy to act as the key link between their business and key customer sites in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background, knowledge of dispatch and operations as well as understanding of QC processes. The successful candidate will build relationships, solve problems and ensure customers receive a first-class experience.
Working closely with both the customer and internal teams, you will become the trusted on-site representative, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing queries, coordinating deliveries and supporting continuous improvement.
Role- Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, providing a professional and proactive service.
- Build strong working relationships with customer representatives and internal departments.
- Oversee incoming deliveries, checking accuracy and ensuring stock systems are maintained.
- Identify and report any quality issues, discrepancies or operational concerns.
- Work closely with Logistics, Production, Quality and Sales teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Provide regular updates on site activity, priorities and potential risks.
- Support improvements to processes and ways of working.
- Carry out minor product adjustments and rectification tasks where required, using basic hand tools.
- Ensure issues are identified early and solutions are implemented effectively.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable acting as the “face” of a business on a customer site.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage their own workload.
- A natural problem solver who can remain calm under pressure.
- Confident dealing with a variety of people and situations.
- Practical and hands-on with good attention to detail.
- Experience within leisure, facilities management, manufacturing, logistics or quality environments would be advantageous.
