Job Title: Service Manager – Mental Health Supported Accommodation Location: Blackburn Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM About Our Client Our client is one of the UK’s most established and respected providers of supported accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. About the Role We are recruiting an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to oversee a Mental Health Supported Accommodation service on behalf of our client. This role involves the operational leadership of a service supporting adults with complex mental health needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented care. The successful candidate will work standard weekday hours and will play a vital role in shaping service delivery, staff development, and user outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the supported accommodation service. * Provide inspirational leadership and support to staff, promoting a positive, inclusive team culture. * Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred support to residents. * Oversee care planning, safeguarding, risk management, and service quality in line with CQC and organisational standards. * Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clinical teams, social care professionals, and families. * Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes. * Manage resources, staffing, and budgets to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Essential Requirements * Substantial experience in a leadership or management role within a mental health, supported living, or social care environment. * Strong understanding of mental health needs, recovery-focused practice, and supported accommodation models. * Sound knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance. * Excellent team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to complete). * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one). * Ideally RMN qualified (Registered Mental Health Nurse), although not essential.
