Sleep-in Pay: £50 per sleep-in
Rota: 1 long day on (07:30 – 23:00), followed by a sleep-in and 2 days off

Driving Requirement: Must hold a full UK manual driving licence
We are working with our client to recruit a Children’s Residential Support Worker for their 2-bed residential service based in Rugeley, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a stable and supportive team making a genuine difference in young people’s lives. The role follows a consistent rolling rota that promotes a healthy work-life balance while ensuring the young people receive consistent, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support for young people in a safe, nurturing environment
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and colleagues
- Promote emotional wellbeing, education, independence, and life skills
- Support with household tasks, routines, and activities
- Follow safeguarding and behavioural support procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to care plans
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in a care setting is desirable
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards
- Knowledge of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

- Ability to work on a rolling rota including sleep-ins
