Our client, a leading accommodation and support service provider, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Care Leavers Support Worker. This role is crucial in providing support to young people leaving care, those who have faced homelessness, and unaccompanied children seeking asylum. If you have the commitment, skills, and compassion to support these individuals, we want to hear from you. Position: Care Leavers Support Worker Location: Community-based and Shared Living Settings across Coventry Hours: 37.5 hours per week across 5 days Shift Pattern: Combination of Early Shifts (8:00 – 16:00) and Late Shifts (14:15 – 22:15) Key Responsibilities: * Provide tailored support to young people in their own accommodation or shared living environments. * Develop and implement support plans that promote independence and well-being. * Assist with daily living tasks, budgeting, and accessing education, employment, or training opportunities. * Build positive relationships and act as a role model. * Ensure the safety and welfare of the young people in your care. * Collaborate with external agencies and services to provide comprehensive support. * Maintain accurate records and contribute to regular reviews of the support provided. Requirements: * Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (mileage paid in addition to hourly rate). * Relevant experience in a similar role or working with young people. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A compassionate and empathetic approach. * Flexibility to work across early and late shifts.
