A Vacancy at Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust. Locum Resident Consultant Paediatrician (Maternity Cover 12 month FTC) Full Time 10 PAs. Applications are invited for the post of Resident Consultant Paediatrician with the option of additional subspecialty interest in other areas.
This is a substantive full-time post (10 PAs). Part time/job share option will be considered on request. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Consultant Paediatrician to join our Paediatric Department with experience in level 2 Neonates to join our Paediatric team at Kingston Hospital.
Kingston Hospital has an overall CQC rating of Outstanding and we are committed to continue this provision of excellent care by attracting the highest quality candidates to join our team. You will be joining a team providing consultant led care in a busy DGH with a substantial NNU. The post enables the provision of consultant led care and supervision for junior and nursing staff 24 hours per day, 7 days a week; providing excellent paediatric care in line with the London Quality Standards.
The post has a 6-week rolling rota with 6 participating resident consultants. You will work 7 nights in 6 weeks with the remainder of your clinical time spent in outpatient clinics or attending on the Paediatric Ambulatory Unit or the level 2 NNU. The current rota design means that there are 2 weeks off within every 6-week block.

We are located on a single site in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and run several outpatient clinics in neighbouring areas including Raynes Park Health Centre and Teddington Memorial Hospital.
